Reading a city plot before drawing a line
Why every VERDE project begins with a site visit — and what we look for when we arrive.
Drawings without site time are guesses. We start by walking boundaries, noting overlooking, listening for noise, and watching how light moves across the day.
Access for build, existing trees, drainage, and the way the kitchen already opens onto the outside all inform the first concept.
Only then do we sketch — so the plan feels like it grew from the place, not from a template.
